Saturday Sewing

The Saturday Sewing group is a friendly group of ladies who meet to share and help each other with their individual sewing projects. Lead by experienced seamstresses, Dixie Stanford and Susie Smith, they meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Members have a wide range of expertise, including but not limited to -

  • Dressmaking (primary focus)
  • Quilting
  • Textile Art
  • Machine Embroidery
  • Hand Embroidery
  • Bag Making

Workshops

The Saturday Sewing Group regularly runs mini workshops and demos. While not teaching sewing in detail, the members help each other with fitting, pattern modification/adjustment and general advice.
